120 Build Thread

Well guys I think I'm going to embark on a 120 build. I've had the tank sitting in the garage, ponderiing the idea of switching.
Heres a pic of me doing a leak test.

Guess what, It has a leak! :mad2: Off to Farco for some Weldon #4....


Oh yeah, OT alittle. Look what I got from John the other day, a nice ACAN.

He had nice green Duncans also, I should have gotten one..

My plan is to build a stand and canopy similar to this. It will be a deep mahogany color.

I will make some reflectors and go with the new Iwasaki 175 watt 15,000 K bulbs. I will run 2 dedicated 20A circuits to power everything and use some DJ switches with a side entry door for all power.. I also hope to get an Aqua controller....

I WILL be taking my time with this one! Everything will be done right, neat and clean. I still need to finish my calcium reactor. I am also thinking of a custom sump with space for fuge and frags.

Way to go Paul . If I can help in any way LMK . I can't wait to see this bad boy up , and running . You won't believe what a big difference that extra 6" from front to back will make .

Got the Weldon, tomorrow I'll seal the tank. Then I'm going to buff out a couple of scratches
