Where did you get the corals from? I had a Pink Pocilopora like that before I killed everything last summer. I absolutely love that coral and man does it grow slow.

Looking good and keep up the good work.

I got it at Greenwich Aquaria they had another piece there last week. I really like it it has great color and the price was great

That place is probably one of the nicest places I've been to, but expensive. Then again, not too much in this hobby is cheap. I tend to prefer Realm of Pets in Southington mainly due to prices, but as far as presentation, Greenwich Aquaria get's the

Ya they may not be the most colorfull fish but theyre eyes look like blue crystals and theyre irradescent bluish silver body shimmer beautifully. Plus they dont leave each others side

ya i was gonna go the chromis route but found these and they will never break apart except at night when eventually they pair off male/female but during the day right back into a ball. Greenwich Aquaria still had a bunch left if youre looking

Hey everybody I have a question for you. Over the course of today from 8am till now a film of brown algae has popped up on some of the rocks. It wasn't there this morning just all of a sudden. My params are as follows

Ammonia-0
Nitrite-0
Nitrate-5 yesterday it was 0 on a salifert test
Calcium-450
Alk-9
PH-8.6
Temp-78

Light schedule is actinics on at 7am off at 8pm
1 halide on at 9:30 off at 5
2 halides on at 11 off at 8

Not sure what caused it, there's also light green spotting on the rocks which I'm assuming us the start of corraline but not sure. Any ideas?
