Hey Smitty, it looks like you foamed the back wall on eggcrate, what did you do on the overflows? looks like you might have put sand/gravel with epoxy and no eggcrate?? How's it holding up?

it would have held up better if i didnt get a long spine urchin and he didnt eat spots of it off the overflows but other than that its all holding up great. ill try to post some updated pics this week

Hello, now that it has been a while since doing the background on the tank/overflows. How is that working out for you? How is your sump area working out. I would really like to know as I am attempting a 180g and considering using rubbermaid sumps.

Surfflyfish4str it's going to be a mixed reef, right now though I only have some softies and a clam. I have 10 dispar Anthias, 10 blue eyed cardinals, 1 yellow tang, 1 tomini tang, 2 yellow head jawfish, 1 diamond goby, 1 leopard wrasse, 1 pair percula clowns, 1 flame hawkfish, 2 garden eels. I'll try to post some pictures this week it's kind of hard I just had my acl/pcl/mcl replaced but I'll see what I can do

Flame angel the foam wall is holding up well and I'm still very happy with it, the only thing I recommend is do no put a long spine urchin in the tank, I made the mistake and he ate a bunch of the foam and sand off of my overflows. I'll try to get a pic of that as well to show you what I'm talking about

Hahaha 2 kids happened!!!! What would you guys like to know about it? It's been an up and down battle mostly up, but lately I've had an algae bloom ugghh. Red slime and some spots of hair algae and its driving me nuts!!! But I'll try to answer questions if you have them
