Just thought I would share some photo's of my old 55, my new 120 "not up yet" and my DIY HOB fuge out of a skilter 450.


First time submitting pics by the way so hope they turn out good

I drilled acrylic for a dual durso and cut some acrylic to fit over the skilter 450 bc I hate the trickle when water evaporates.

That's nice. That's interesting rockwork ya got there... how do you keep it all together like that without falling? Is it cemented on at all?

My first thoughs are the same as Pandora's. Might want to add some more rock too.

No cement though I didnt like the southdown sand so I took it out. I will cement the bottom pieces to the glass and mabye a couple of others. One of the benefits of cycling I guess. I have the same ammount of rock with corals going in, mostly softies.. fish so far will be a mandarin dragonet, purple fire fish, cardinal, and bi color. Other than that I am still trying to figure out stocking, was thinking anthias. Guess I should show the tank once it gets up.
