Ipe hardwood runs about 7 dollars a board foot ( 1' X 1' X 1'). He's got less than 200 dollars worth of wood there. The rest is his time to build it. WAY overpriced I think. Ipe is a good wood that is used in ourdorr furniture so Iguess he figured it should work for an aquarium stand.

Funny how he copied the discription of the wood from a internet site but forgot to also copy the price. 5-7 dollars a board foot.
