Thanks for interests

Powerhead in calcium reactor is sealed with Teflon tape(? Used in plumbing)
Wind a Teflon tape around powerheadÃ"šÃ‚¡Ã"šÃ‚¯s electric wire
* See my first calcium reactor photo Ã"šÃ‚¡ÃƒÂ¨

My reactor is simple, silence, saving CO2 and donÃ"šÃ‚¡Ã"šÃ‚¯t stop powerhead anytime for empty water
Design is my own idea
I have no problem in use for 1.5 years, perfect!!
So did you drill a hole in the acrylic tubing for the power cord?

Thanks skattabrain

I have many fishes in my tank
They have been lived for many years in my tank (include old tank)

3 clown fish (6 years)
1 purple tang (5 years)
1 powder blue tang (2 years)
1 cardinal fish (4 years)
1 Flame angel (6 years)

Yes
Drill a hole and insert, glue up a pipe that fit to powerheadÃ"šÃ‚¡Ã"šÃ‚¯s electric wire thickness
Cutting powerheadÃ"šÃ‚¡Ã"šÃ‚¯s electric wire and insert into pipe
Wind a Teflon tape around powerheadÃ"šÃ‚¡Ã"šÃ‚¯s electric wire

Normally I tend to just be a lurker on this board, but your tank has caused me to come out of lurkage for one brief moment. This has to be one of the best looking tanks, if not the best, I've seen here in a long while. The thing that I really love about your tank is that it isnt ALL sps like so many others are. It has an awesome mix of everything, which is what an my ideal reef tank would have. Kickass job dude. Keep it up.

Agree to that ^^^

Great tank and nice work with the display of corals. Great show pieces and eye catching center piece. Keep it up :)

Ahnyonghasayo! Very nice tank. I was in Seoul last October...my wife's family lives in Puchon, and we were there visiting. I went to several pet stores while I was there but never saw any corals. Where do you get your corals in Seoul? I may be visiting again and would love to see some nice pet stores while I am there.

ReefAqua,

I want to add my compliments on your beautiful tank. I, like JIM27, like seeing a mixed reef rather than just exclusively SPS. Does your flame angel pester any of your corals or clams? What do you feed your fish and how often? Keep up the great work!

ReefAqua,

Be proud, be very proud. You have an excellent thriving reef that many of us only dream of...

Congratulations.

I'm also quite interested in what your feeding regiment is for the tank.

Thanks!

Awesome!

Awesome!

Absolutely incredible! An inspiration to those of us just starting out in this hobby. Attention to details, patience, and a passion for the sea life we are nurturing leads to tanks like this! Excellent work ReefAqua... I hope that one day my wife and I will be able to post reef pix like these :)

Scorch268: I nominate this as October's tank of the month!!

Heck ya one of the nicest tanks i have ever seen...im jealous!

IÃ"šÃ‚¡Ã"šÃ‚¯d like to express my heartfelt thanks to compliments

I feed only a little FORMULA ONE ,TWO Flake food one time per day or two days
I donÃ"šÃ‚¡Ã"šÃ‚¯t feed extra foods for corals
I feed very little but all my fishes and corals are healthy
Fishes grow very slowly (size) because I feed a little,
6 years old yellow tang in my tank grow 1 inch for 6 years but she looks happy and healthy

I donÃ"šÃ‚¡Ã"šÃ‚¯t change water frequently. 4~5 times per year about 10%
I change out a bag of Hydrocarbon once a month.

Tank dimensions: 52" L x 24" H x 24" D
For water circulation in my reef, I use Iwaki 30RLXT return pump and closed loop type Iwaki 20RLXT with Sea Swirl 3/4, 3 maxi-jet 900 powerheads

Water parameters
PH : 8.2 ~ 8.45 (Aqua controller)
Alkalinity : 9 ~ 12 (Salifert)
