Hi, I'd like your opinion on the planned stocklist for my 120g going to be set up sometime this year/next.

5-Tierra Anthias, also called Resplendent Anthias (Stay around 3")

1-Yellow Tang

1-Leopard Wrasse (Female)

2-Picasso Clowns

1-Starry Blenny

1-Orange Stripe Prawn Goby w/Pistol Shrimp or Yashia Goby w/Pistol Shrimp or Pink Bar Goby w/Pistol Shrimp

Could I add anything else, or would I be maxed out?

Thanks,
Steve

Your picasso clowns will eat all your fish except the tang also your shrimp and snails . Take them away and you have a good list just remember the anthias require multiple feedings per day so you will need good flow and a powerful skimmer.

Huh??? Picasso clowns will eat anthias and wrasses?? I've never heard of anything even remotely like that and cant imagine a clown eating either an anthias or a wrasse.

Not gonna happen;)

Sorry guy's never heard it called that , as far as your list goes it sounds good I didn't mean to side track your thread my mistake . When you pick out your anthias look at their bellies to make sure they are not to shrunken ,they have a high metabolism and can starve faster than other fish. If you want to introduce a bristle tooth tang I would put it in before the yellow tang so it can establish it's own territory first.

Its a nice list.....but in a 120...IMO...they'll get "lost".....
think you need a "centerpiece" fish...it would be cool to get 10~13 green chromis, or even some cardinals...to add a schooling fish affect...you know...kinda like open ocean effect.....anyway...just IMO....

I like it...

I like it...

I vote for the Magnificent Foxface Rabbitfish... I just added one and he gets along well with my yellow and hippo tangs. The first day or so he just displayed his (venomous) fins to the tangs and they left him alone - they even share seaweed from the same clips...

As far as the bristletooth tangs... The "Two Spot Bristletooth Tang" is absolutely stunning. I just think it's kind of hard to find a place that has them in stock.

Am I maxed out or could I add anything else? I kind of want some type of angel, weither it be dwarf, genicathus, or large marine angel, any suggestions.

And yes, I cannot fit a 180g in the new home (well old home, seeing as how we're moving into a house we still own.) I am thinking of going reef because I enjoy it, and they're more colorful, ya know?

No your not maxed out, but if your going for a "REEF" tank then forget the angle. They nip coral. Maybe a coral beauty or some other dwarf angel but I'd do tons of research first. Your list you posted is fine for a reef.

I'm thinking of some type of wrasse, but yet I have no clue, any input, hopefully one that doesn't eat pods, seeing as how I'd like to supplement the diet of the Leopard w/ pods.
