I hope that tang wasn't sold to you as a purple tang with the associated pricing of one, because it looks to be a two spot bristletooth tang. Still a pretty fish though.

I got it from epic ocean's and sold to me as a purple tang for $30
I have been trying to get a good picture all day since today has been my first day of since I got him. I am hoping to get a better picture of him maybe tomorrow

I just googled the two spot bristletooth tang and found a image from reef central marine fish section.
My purple fish
Which looks identical so thanks tangingout. Greatly appreciate. I like to know what live stock I get and with some places not listing living or just using common names makes it difficult.

From what I was told he is aggressive and eats meaty food. Also can't keep shrimp or crabs might be able to get by with snails but if you do keep those he will have them as a snack and he is a little pricy $70
So far he's behaving well and is very timid. The biggest fish I have and its scared lol. Once the acclimate process is complete he will become very active.

Wamt to share a picture of where I found my green canary Benny and where he sleeps I night. I found it to be funny.
So here they are he sleeps in the groove of hammer head algae free cleaning magnet where I attach the scraper attachment to the magnet.
The pictures are dark because my lights where off and want sure if I would be able to get the picture if I was to turn my lights on.

Thought I would post a quick update.
Over the past few weeks I've lost some fish. My volitan lionfish, green canary Benny, and the bristle tooth tang. My diamond watchman goby is m.i.a. Which I suspect my toadfish got a hold of him. My lion fish and my green canary and my lion fish somehow got caught In my powerhead. I can understand and see why the lion fish but not so much with my green canary. The bristletooth tang I lost the next day after doing a major water change.
I've swapped out my t5 bulbs for ati bulbs and my corals have been showing results. My war coral is still recovering from the dip that I did a month ago in melafix. It has about half color everything else is closed.
I have been doing water changes one a week due to unwanted algae.
A week few weeks after I got my harlequin Tusk I noticed white spots which spread to my fox face one spot. They both went in quarantine. The fox face recovered and now I noticed lumps around his stomach area. My harlequin tusk is recovering well.
I also picked up the bubble magnus t11 doser.

Well it's been a while since I have posted anything so I figured it was time for a update.
The tank is doing well I have added two vertex 2.5L reactors and I have made some modifications to the plumbing. Redesigned my manifold for to run the chiller, and my two reactors. I have started to run bio pellets to test them out to see how my tank runs with them. I have lost my one spot fox face and my yellow banana Wrasse. Everything else is doing well. I did have some issues with high calcium and magnesium levels, but those are back to normal. Think my dosed went a little crazy.
