Hey Rob, what kind of work do you do?

If he tells you......he may have to kill you:eek2:

Quote: I swear Rob, you are a walking target =P
People come out of the woodworks to swing at your Piñata!

 Oh that was funny!!

Nice looking tank Rob.

The picture doesn't do it justice, for those who haven't seen it, I can tell you it looks even better in person. It's a very clean setup and the stand is in great shape and very solid. The price he is asking is an absolute steal and if I had the room and some reasonable way to get it home, I would take it without blinking for that price.

Also, Rob I think you're a nice guy. Sometimes people just get put off when you are direct and don't sugar coat things. I get that sometimes too. The only thing you should be in trouble for for is helping to get me wanting a reef! You just had to have that fire shrimp and LTA in there.

that pic is after the tank was running for 2 or maybe 3 months it has changed alot since then. definately more full trying to prepare for the new tank hoping it won't look empty when I change over.
thanks for the kind words laura it's not so often I hear them. I've never been one to sugar coat things. thats all I will say about that or another conversation will surely resurface.
fish thank you very much for hosting the pic for me.
robert
pok you have mail

draining 100 gallons from the new tank right now and changing over tonight. friday night that is so it is ready to leave here tonight.

Welcome and Good Luck Robert, keep us posted on your progress with the 265. From what I saw of it, I think it is going to be beautiful. It shouldn't be too empty unless you got rid of some stuff, the 125 was pretty full.

I didn't think that was a super recent pic, when I saw it you had way more pulsing Xenia and your LTA was alot bigger, also you had just gotten the pretty little Regal Tang.

tank ,stand, canopy and sump are spoken for. I will have a euro reef 8-1 or whatever model # they give them these days. not sure how much to ask for it seeing the price of them these days everything is going crazy . also will have 2 ice cap 660 ballasts that are only 3-4 months old. bought both within a week or 2 of each other. who knows what else.

Rob....I noticed in another post that you were looking for some fish. I have 3 very large fish that I need to find a nice big home for. They are in a 270 and I see that you just got a 265. Let me know if are still looking. I have a beautiful Atlantic Blue, Pacific Blue, and a Huge White Stripe Maroon Clown. :D

thanks flareef how big is the atlantic blue? I have 2 pacific/regal tangs and I have other clown plans. maroons are ummm can't say it here. how much for the atlantic blue? and can you catch it?

Trying to think of a description that would give you the size.....thats hard. Bigger than my hand....hows that :) Haven't really thought about pricing. It's kind of hard to put a price on something that has been with us for so long...but we can definately work something out. I really don't want to be responsible for hurting the fish so I would rather whoever wants it come and get it. I don't have a big enough net anyway. I don't think there would be any problem getting it though. It is very friendly and there isn't enough stuff in the tank to get in the way and we are willing to take the rock out to make it easier. Let me know either way. So you don't like maroons...he is so big...and beautiful. Doesn't bother anything. Bought him from Ichthy John when he was just a wee thing.... :D

holy cow that may be larger than I should add at this time . maybe anytime. big scares me a little . just added everything late last night so if it's that big I think I should pass at this time. I do appreciate it though.

tank, stand, canopy, sump, and pump are all gone thank you jason.
laura that tang is still alive I am not sure if you remember but it wasn't the one I picked out and I got stuck with the most sickly regal I may have ever seen that is still alive at least. it is doing pretty well lately and I got him a new buddy that is a little bigger than a nickel . chases the big one around but hard to keep up.

Your welcome. If you can believe me, I got it off and in the house by myself with my 4'10" 90lbs wife guiding me!! It took creative and resourceful thinking but we got it done. Thanks once again.

Btw the new tank looks good.

another holy cow is in order jason that is crazy. did you use the pipes to roll it in?
oh yeah you are very welcome. I will let you know on the other stuff I need to get rid of soon. having trouble with the new lights on my aquacontroller but I think it is a polarity or ground loop thing. may have to use the ice caps if I can't figure it out but I am sure I can.

Nope, a lid to a toilet seat!!:D I picked up one end and placed the other on the plastic lid using the clips of the lid as a lip for the tank and stand and pushed and slid the whole thing to the front door and then just muscled it in from there!

Very cool -kinda suprised but so glad he made it! I do remember because he still had some of the ick spots on him when I saw him and was a skinny teeny thing. It would be so cool if they turned out to be a mated pair and you get some baby tangs. Did you end up having enough fish/corals to make the 265 not look empty?
