mj 1200s are nice for flow but having that many in the tank becomes an eyesore. You could pick up one SEIO, see how it works and use the MJ you already have on the other side of the tank. If it's not enough get some more.

i don't what what i am going to do. i have been reading about the seio and i am hearing a lot of complaints. i also read that you shouldn't put them on a wavemaker which i use now.

I have heard a lot of complaints also but people are usually easier to get a complaint out of rather than a praise. As said I did have problems in the beginning but once it wore in, it works great. The main difference in the SEIO and Maxijet is that the SEIO spreads out instead of a fine stream of water like the maxijet, that's why I only need one on that side. They aren't recommended for wave makes so that's up to you.

Well I went out for a couple of hours last night and when I came back I went to put some R/O in the sump for top off and noticed my heater light on. I live in Florida. I unplugged it immediately and checked the temp, 86.7! That's not too bad but imagine if I wan't home for a few more hours. I kicked the sump fan to high and let it cool down slowly. I normally leave the heater unplugged except for winter because of the horror stories I hear but I must of plugged it in for some reason.
I guess the lesson of the day is don't have your heater plugged in unless you need to.

Here's an updated shot of my madagascar leather. It's hard to get a good pic of the colors but the polyps are insanely green.
I got it around May 20th. He didn't even have a stalk at this point.

Here's a pic from today, kind of ironic that the starfish was there again also.

Here's my biggest Florida Ricordia, at times he has a 5 inch diameter.

Here's one of my brains stretching out.

That first picture of the star isn't the feather star right? What kind is it?

You asked the same question on page 2 of this thread. It's some kind of fromia star, I've only seen three like it and I have 2.

Definitely going to have one when I move. You know where I live, where would I put it, on the dining room table?

Well I decided to just replace my MJ's. Seems like it would give me the frredom to move the flow around. I also didn't want to loose the ability to shut of the flow when feeding.
I like your new pics.

Gregg check out the other thread on the other forum.
I took your advise and started a thread of my own.
It's under balistik1.

no problem just making sure you know, thought it was kind of funny that the same star was near the same leather in both pics and you asked the same question. Maybe we're in the twilight zone.

I didn't remember the star looking so knobby before.

That sounds like a good name. I shall call him knobby and he shall be my knobby.

Knobby is beautiful. But then again, so is everything else in your tank! :)

Have a great day!
