Actually Greg, that is an awesome idea to do for the club as well. I have a few nice shots I could contribute, but there are many more we could other people in the club to contribute. We'll talk a lot more about this when I get back. This is a pretty cool idea.

Thank you! I'm working on the calendar now, the place publishing it for me also does posters, mouse pads, etc.... and I ordered a few yesterday just to make sure that they are good quality, I'm trying to get the calendar done soon so that it will be done with plenty of time before next year (stocking stuffers!!) but don't want to cut any corners. I'll keep everyone updated.

Just as everything is looking the best it's ever looked my Chevron Tang died today. He's one of my older fish, I've had him about 10 months, which doesn't seem that long but my tank will only be a year old on the 21st of this month.
I have no idea why he died either, he was the fattest, healthiest Chevron I've ever seen. He ate fine this morning and when I was leaving the house early afternoon I saw him laying on the ground breathing heavily with no marks on him, he had no sign of ich, or any other parasites. He died a few hours later

Very nice, those are hard to come by, it will probably turn more red, it looks a little bleached, it's also a cynarina rather than scolymia, here's a pic of mine. How much was he??

I talked to a few people about the chevron tang and they think that he might have eaten a bristle worm and that killed him?? I'll post pics of the new pieces either tonight or tomorrow.

I don't think it is much of a bleach. It is actually on the hot pink end but I am still not the greatest with my camera. I paid $55 and I also meant to write cynarina but was think about my two scolymia's.

Well I'm pretty sure it's a hydno now, I set it down last night in spot until I figured out what it was to mount it and I guess a fish bumped it into a nearby colony, here's the results.
