125 gallon for sale

Interested in the Lion. I already have one in my 75gal. - do you think another one would be overdoing it?

It's a Red Volitan.

K-ROK ~ I am a little skeptical about putting another lionfish in a 75. I guess it depends...

Will these be the only two fish in the tank?

How large is the other lionfish and what type? I've seen ones that are really tiny and I'm certain it would get eaten.

How much rockwork is in the display tank? If there's a lot then, there's not going to be enough room for the fish to move around. But, if you keep most of the rock in the sump, you should be ok.

What type of filtration do you have? This guy will reak havoc on a smaller tank if you don't have a really good skimmer.

And, water movement is essential. The lionfish loves to hang out infront of the powerheads in my tank every so often.

Strong answers to these questions and I would say it's ok. But, I wouldn't try it if the setup just isn't right.

Hmmm, a 14" lionfish in an 18" x 48" tank sounds cramped to me. That sounds like one of the largest lionfish I have seen. I'm thinking that even the 6ft tank was very small for such a big fish.

I couldn't see one being able to swim around very comfortably in a 75g with any amount of live rock in it.
