I recommend that you remove your macro and add new..this time just add the chaetomorpha. If that caulerpa goes sexual...you will not want to see the results. It will probably be too difficult to insure that all the caulerpa is gone...so it would be best to just get a new clean batch of chaeto only.Another possibility is small bits of the caulerpa could make it to your tank and get a foothold.Chaeto would be much easier to remove in this case.

Why should I remove my Chaetomorpha? What is wrong with it?

Here are the latest pictures I taken yesturday night.

As you can see, I have Nanocustom Surface skimmers and a Hydor water deflector. The surface skimmer is the best to keep the surface clean. Before I have the skimmer, It was so filmy on top. The hydor water deflector helps me out a lot. Because the Maxi jet pumps 295gph, after going to tubings, it will be about at least 240gh.

After I place the deflector the water pumps down to about 190 at least. It takes up to 18second per rotating, which mean 1 takes 18sec/round.

I have the original Nano Cube 12 as well and was wanting to do this lighting upgrade. Did everything fit in the original clear splach shield or did you need to buy more? It looks like you got two fans and the heat shield add-on. Any other add-ons? What was your upgrade cost?
