135 gal. Probidio Driven SPS Cube

I don't generally post much anymore. Was doing a water change today and decided to take out the camera and snap a few pics while all the pumps were off.

Tank has been up for about 1.5-2 years. Here is what my system consists of...

3' x 3' x 2' 135 gallon Starphire rimless cube w/ black background
90 gallon sump w/ baffles plumbed into my basement
Jumbo SRO 5000 internal protein skimmer
Dual media reactor for GFO and Carbon
I use the 3 part dosing system
I use Probidio Biodigest and Bioptim, alternated every other week.
Corals get fed Pohls Coral Vitalizer 3 times per week

Fish consist of...
1 yellow tang
2 blue tangs
2 firefish
1 anthias
2 semi snowflake clowns

Fish are fed seaweed daily and generally get a feeding of pellets in the evening.

Tank has been running very well and I try and not mess with stuff as much as possible. I've had a bunch of Acans and a few other misc. corals that I have been slowly getting rid of. Hence the random corals on the bottom of the tank.

Changes to be made in the near future...
I am adding a Co2 scrubber to try and boost PH a bit as my sump is near our furnace.
After the first of the year I am going to be upgrading to a 36" 8 bulb ATI Powermodule.

I still have a bit of a hard time getting the white balance right with the Led's but these pics came out pretty good. Enjoy!

This pic was taken yesterday before the syphoning of the bottom today.

Thanks :spin1:

Since the tank has been set up, it has has been running a Maxspect Razor 16k :lol2: Corals seem to like it.. but I really want to push things by upgrading to the Powermodule.

Thanks for the information. Everything looks amazing why mess with perfection? But I do understand as there are a few new LEDs out there that are cutting edge right now.

I hear ya.. just think it's just time to step my game up. I think the combo of T5 and LED's will really make the tank pop, of course with a nice slow acclimation to the new light!

Fantastic tank. Those colors you are getting are unreal. Stunning

Thanks! Low nutrients, probidio and stability are working in my favor. Really looking forward to what the corals and colors will look like in another year :D

I don't usually post replies...As a matter of fact...I don't at all but this is insane...1.5+ yrs and this...wowwwwww...we're most of those frags or colonies...Also any before pictures...insane...Please keep posting and keep pics rolling....

can you expand on this?
3 part? like kh, ca and mg? what brand/type?
probidio-how much? same with the pohls?

thanks so much. i just might be convinced to try it in my cube...

Thanks for all the nice replies. Will get to answering everyones questions soon. Got my Co2 scrubber hooked up today. Looking forward to see what changes this has on my tank.

Also just stumbled across these pics from when I was working on the stand for my tank. This was my original rock structure build, ended up only using 2 of the structures.

great looking tank. I was wondering how you keep the bottom clean and free of coralline algae? Do you scrap and move the rocks around?
