I don't generally post much anymore. Was doing a water change today and decided to take out the camera and snap a few pics while all the pumps were off.
Tank has been up for about 1.5-2 years. Here is what my system consists of...
3' x 3' x 2' 135 gallon Starphire rimless cube w/ black background
90 gallon sump w/ baffles plumbed into my basement
Jumbo SRO 5000 internal protein skimmer
Dual media reactor for GFO and Carbon
I use the 3 part dosing system
I use Probidio Biodigest and Bioptim, alternated every other week.
Corals get fed Pohls Coral Vitalizer 3 times per week
Fish consist of...
1 yellow tang
2 blue tangs
2 firefish
1 anthias
2 semi snowflake clowns
Fish are fed seaweed daily and generally get a feeding of pellets in the evening.
Tank has been running very well and I try and not mess with stuff as much as possible. I've had a bunch of Acans and a few other misc. corals that I have been slowly getting rid of. Hence the random corals on the bottom of the tank.
Changes to be made in the near future...
I am adding a Co2 scrubber to try and boost PH a bit as my sump is near our furnace.
After the first of the year I am going to be upgrading to a 36" 8 bulb ATI Powermodule.
I still have a bit of a hard time getting the white balance right with the Led's but these pics came out pretty good. Enjoy!
This pic was taken yesterday before the syphoning of the bottom today.
