HI ... i have a 14 gallon biocube and the box and instructions didnt tell me what was really going on in the biocube... just the light voltage... 10,000K or two 24 W bulbs.... (one normal light) (the other tinted blue color) and for late night i have two LED lights.... So i was wondering if i have enough light for any corals..... i have had one long tentacle plate coral in my tank for around 3 weeks and it is doing beautiful ... also .. i dont know if it has a sort of built in skimmer..?? IF ANYONE has any idea about biocubes by oceanic please let me know anything....... :)

i want to know what i may need to purchase for my tank and fish/..

Just set mine up 2 days ago! Your lighting should be ok for corals with moderate lighting needs!
It does not have a protein skimmer !
Tell me you have a heater.
How long after you set up the tank did you start stocking it?

i waited around 2 weeks to put fish in... i think im going to buy a protein skimmer.. i dont have a heater... but i have a hydrometer and my water stays at around 78 ... i live in key west... so i dont think i really need a heater lol ... umm yeah i have a plate coral and its doing great.. so i think im going to get some mushrooms today... and eventually get a mushroom coral for my clown to host... Well.... after i get my clown today :) i had a few problems......

HONESTLY .. the cycle took a while and just finished around 1 week ago .. dont rush.. not worth it

and you have to wait a few months before adding shrimp and lobster..

oxkisses12ox,
Thats great, all you have to do is a little diving to stock your tank!

I used cycled water and LR from my 4yr old established tank so I dont Know if i will actually see a cycle! I will probably get a perc. too and later a hifin red banded goby!
What kind of skimmer did you want for a cube ? I heard those nano skimmers are a waste and i dont see how you would put a hob one on with this setup! I am going to try with out for a while !
