Last night I was scrolling Craigslist and came across an "11 gallon" saltwater tank for 15 dollars. I figured it was a scam and kept scrolling. Then later I figured what's the worst that could happen and sent him a text message. He told me the tank had been sold and the guy was coming in the morning, I was a little disappointed but no big deal. Then this morning I sent another text to see if the guy had come by and grabbed the tank, to my luck he had not. So I rushed over and found this:
It came with a full 5 gallon tub of instant ocean reef salt. Test kits, nets, new mag drive, and some fish food. As well as a pistol shrimp, a emerald crab, and a few snails. I gave him the cash and started to disassemble the tank. And found
an insane amount of bristle worms in the rocks and filter pads. When I got home I cleaned the tank, washed the equipment with a vinegar solution. I also tried to get rid of all the aptasia. I'll post pictures shortly after the sand in the water settles to the bottom. Just thought I would share my find with you guys.
