Well once you get water in the system Im curious to see how they hold up.
Thanks i would love to say i made progress however shipment got delayed to next thursday. so i may make a cardboard rendition and do all the piping that way so at least it can be done.. blows...

Yes Finally arrived. They forgot a piece but that shouldnt stop me from going forward with most of it. After i study ill try to hand at acrylic creation. No promises haha

Finally so i decided after studying i deserve to try welding acrylic and i it wasnt hard, but not easy but i dont think i did a bad job. definitely got better as it went along but all in all ill take it. Doing the overflows practicing for the sump

This is the external overflow. i think it came out pretty well and i am pleased. Tomorrow internal and maybe the beginning of the sump!
As a side note for anyone doing these. Don't use a solo cup as a funnel.... It's plastic and melts...

A little more work done. Finished the internal overflow and 3 sides of the sump. I was gonna do the fourth but its a little late and I didnt want to cut wood to make supports so thats on for tomorrow. hopefully ill have the sump finished by monday or tuesday

haha i agree but its from superbowl so i gotta get rid of it.... shucks... but dimensions are 48x16x16 with 1/4" acrylic. so roughly ~50 gallons give or take

Hahah, I understand completely. I went with some Millers for the superbowl :beer: Wow, that's a pretty big sump man. I'm really kicking myself in the butt for not getting a bigger better sump. You live and you learn:headwally:
ya i had a 29 for the 90 and shape just ****ed me off as i felt i wasnt using the maximal space and i couldnt orient it how i wanted it so custom made it that much better.
Next part of the sump done. hopefully tomorrow it will be complete with baffles :bounce3:

And decided to build the skimmer and its massive. at least compared to my swc160
And a complete side note, my clown fish in my 90 decided to host my goniopora tonight and i thought it was cool haha. Sorry it was lights out for them so its a little dark
