150 gallon... pictures inside

oh shoot i forgot one more sorry for all the questions,

how much room are there on the sides? and the front like 3 or 4 inches on the side?

thanks!

Nick

I received my corals from all over the place.

Lots of them are from local reefers grown from frags, some are from reefers across the nation, some are from online retailers, and a few are from local LFS's.

I've bought corals from phishybusiness, reefermadness, blowfishaquatics, and Dr. Macs on line.

thanks alot for all your help! truely an amazing reef!

whats that coral in your aviator?

thanks!

Nick

Hats off..
Great Job on the tank.
I must say that is one great tank.
That is the direction i want to go with mine as well.
Thanks for the pics

Thanks everyone... I appreciate the compliments. I still think it has a long way to go! Can't wait to see what it turns out to be in another year.

The coral in my avatar is what I think to be a A. plana

Wow Garrick, you weren't kidding when you said the new tank is full already! Looks awesome though, gonna have to make a visit to your house and Scott's again and perhaps this trip Shawn will be available.

Hey Lyndel, you know you're always welcome over here. I told you I didn't have any room! LOL

wow, tank's kickin bro. those lumenarcs make those 250's look a lot brighter than my 400's, bro. and i only have a 90. i'll give you a shout when i cruise up to scott's.

wow great one more for you this time i promise last one haha,

are the rocks touching the back wall? or are the just free standing?

it looks like they are touching that overflow in the middle but thats it?

let me know!

thanks alot!

Nick

That is a beautiful reef tank! One of the best on RC. I am also running 250W 14KK Hamiltons (DE Version) and I was planning on upgrading to 400's but you have now convinced me to stick with my 250's.

Awesome Job!

Garrick,

You've done a masterful work on your tank! It looks really good! What kind of tank is that again? I'm looking into new tanks to put in-wall and was wondering if it's worth spending the extra, extra bucks for starphire frontal glass. From the looks of yours, it doesn't seem to be! I'll try to get out there with Lyndel this time as last time I became ill. Hard to get you, Scott and Shawn together at one time! Trying to kill 3 birds with one stone ya' know!:D

Gotta give props to Greg for the awesome pics! Greg is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet!

kaisersoze - Thanks... just let me know when you're heading to Scott's and you can swing over too.

Nick - The rock does not touch the back glass. The only place they touch toward the back is on the overflow.

MacnReef - Those 250 SE are doing the job for now... electricity in CA is so expensive... I couldn't get myself to get 400's. If electricty weren't an issue, I would be VERY curious to see how the 400DE's are.

Joe - WOW... you're tank was one of the tanks that inspired me to do the transfer from the 75 and truly aquascape! Thank you very much!!!

Roland - You are always welcome at the house anytime! I got my tank through www.mparkis.com. For the life of me, I can't think of the name of the tank builder but they're in City of Industry. My tank isn't starfire because there's probably another upgrade after this one down the road, but you can definately see the difference between my tank and Scott's starfire tank.
