150 gallon Stream setup

Hi All,

I'm working on a new tank setup. Dimensions will either be 48x30x24 (LxWxH) or 60x24x24. This will be a mixed reef including some SPS.

I'm thinking of 2 6105's with the controller - 1 in each back corner angled toward the front glass on the opposite side. Does this sound about right?

Any other suggestions?

Yes, that is what I would recommend but they may need to be run at less than full power in the early phases of the tank. I would also go with back corner to three feet away at the front rather than diagonal front corner, this creates more of a rolling current than a reflected current.
