150 is being filled

Do you have any vibration issues with the spa flex PVC? My pump is incredibly loud and I can almost pinpount the PVC as being the main culprit.

no i have no vibration issues at all. I used a heat gun to bend it and its molded very well. I like the spa flex PVC pipe a lot.

Here are some new pictures

Looks great. Now are you have to be happy with your decision to stay with it? I can see your getting a nice wave in the pictures too. I just hope to have the success of your tank...of course without the initial start.

Thanks buddy. I am very glad i made the decision to stay in. Im now just planning on what i can do next for lights and flow as im sure you saw above. Yeah the wave is awesome in the tank for sure. Im sure you will have success in your tank, Just take you time thats all i can say.

I have a question about GFO. I have been running it since day one and had no algae issues. About two weeks ago I started to notice I was getting some cyano so I added some power heads and played with it until I had no dead spots. I change the water every Friday with ro/di water with a 0.00 TDS reading. I cleaned the sump and protein skimmer. So I thought the GFO might need to be changed too. So I did that now I'm wondering how long it usually takes to start seeing the rest of the algae die off?

cyano is not really a algae it is a bacteria.some people call it Red Slime Algae. you just have to stay on top of that stuff and take what rocks you can out clean them off and i like to wash them off with ro/di water be for i put the rock back in my tank.if you can't take the rock out or it is on your sand you will need to use a gravel vacuum to Siphon it out.turn off your power heads when your cleaning it out of your tank.so you don't have it start some place else.

that might be part of the problem.i have read the you should do three days of no light.i have not done that yet. my nano cube started to get it and i could not get it to slow down on poping up in a new spot.one bay it hit me i did not try a new per 38 bulb now it has slowed down and look like it might be going away.it might be the new lights.

Today was day 3 of lights out and from the looks of it all the Cyano is dead and gone. My skimmer was just filled with nasty nasty junk. I just hope this does the trick and it wont come back.

I noticed you have your powerhead mounted using the black suction cup mount that it came with. The suction cups have a habit of loosing thier grip over time. You may want to consider changing them out for a magnetic mount.

I agree. That said my last set has lasted 5 months with no problems. I just
make sure the cups stay and the glass under them stay clean.

Thanks for the advice. I do notice I have to push the suction cups back every couple of days. These pumps are just temporary until I can get my 6105s in a few weeks.
