I have been doing some testing with an Aquaillumination SOL Blue for the last few months with positive results, and have since then purchased additional units for a total of (3) to go over the new tank.
The new stand will be 40" tall. My current stand is 42"
I personally like a taller stand because I can comfortably rest my elbow on the top ledge. Plus with the (3) tier design of the new stand I couldn't go much shorter, or the shortest tier would be way to low.
