150g Starphire Peninsula Build Thread. SPS and BTA's. Pic Heavy!

Very nice looking tank. I am planning to set up a 150 peninsula tank. why do you mention that you would have liked to go for a 180?

There's a few things I wish I had done different. A foot longer first off, more room for fish to swim and more for aquascaping and room for colonies to grow out. Mostly I wish I had installed a ghost overflow. Since this tank is set up as a peninsula the built in overflow accounts for about 6" of one side of the tank. A ghost overflow would have given that back. Also wish I wouldn't have gotten starphire glass as it scratches a little to easy for my liking.

Planning currently underway for a new build with the possibility that I might be moving in the next 6 months to 1 year.

Details are sketchy:
275g peninsula (6' long, 3' wide, 2' tall) with Synergy Reef overflow.
Tank will be in its own room and will drain into a room partitioned in the garage, into a 75g sump.
Two propagation tanks will reside in the same room (fed into the same sump) as well as a mixing station, and a wall section that will house the majority of electrical and control units in an organized manner. No more tangled mess of wires!
