Hello,
This is my second tank, a Nuvo AIO 16g tank. I will primarily keep sps, as most of them will be fresh cuts from my 120 gallon display. I got a deal on this tank and in my bedroom had TV in my Armoire, so decided to ditch the TV and replace that spot with a nano. This works perfect. I installed a current blue led strip for supplemental light. This cubby works so perfect for this AIO. I have it automated with top off(kalk) and will be running this little tank with Aqua Forest method. My 120 gallon display is 100% Aquaforest, so I will mimic doing so in this nano. For carbon source I will be using Pro Bio F to aid in bacteria and carbon source in one. Dosing 2 times per week. The bioload is very low right now, no fish as of yet. Probably 10lbs of live rock. This tank came to me sort of cycled, the rock was anyway, and I did a 100% water change with my 120 gallon system exchange water, which is very clean and seeded. The corals are holding color, but I will expand the light with a led setup at some point. Just letting this tank settle in right now, corals are showing great PE, so I am happy the slow direction I am going with the tank. Now for specs and pics.
Equipment:
16G AIO Nuvo
Stock Return Pump(dual)
Stock LED/ Innovative(will expand later)
Seaside Aquatics Nano-02 skimmer
BRS single reactor running AF Carbon(MJ 400 feed)
ATO with (kalk) toms aqua lifter pump
Tunze 6055 controlled(lowest setting)
