175 Watts performs = to 250 watts!?

Check out the par meter on the 250w reeflux and the 175w iwasaki. in some cases, the iwasaki has higher pars. Does that mean lumen bright with 175w will still be as good as a 250w? i currently have 2x175w. if i go this route, i would only need to upgrade the reflectors instead of the whole setup.

the reeflux is a blue bulb with horrible par for a 12k. If any other bulb was used as a comparison, im sure youd get higher par with the 250w set up.

175w Iwasaki 15k, AB 13k, Ushio 10 and 14k will ALL outperform average and poor performing high kelvin 250w bulbs all things being equal.

the Iwasaki on e-ballast performs well enough to compete with even decent performing 250w bulbs but its still no match for the best 250w bulbs have to offer. For example it will out PAR a 250w XM20k but its not even close to a 250w XM10k or top five PAR 250w bulb. throw a HQI ballast which dont exist for 175w bulbs and even regular 250w bulbs begin to easily outperform the Iwsaki.

I wouldn't use the 12K bulb for the 250 it doesnt have the quality say a 15K or higher would. Also the distance from the surface is substantial.
