That certainly seems like it. All the fish are quite happy this morning. Even last night they were out, about, and begging for a meal. Very few of them even hid after the transfer. I tossed in nori this morning, and its like nothing happened, they are just pecking away like usual. Clams are looking good too, mantles extended, etc.
I think we will go for 2x250 MH for a few months and see what happens. The luminarc reflectors give good coverage right now, and hopefully that will be enough to avoid having to put a 3rd MH bulb over the tank. We are going to supplement with something, T5s most likely.
We started with the power control center before the other tank started to go south.
This little pest feels to need to be in every photo, she is always underfoot. However we love her, so we put up with her neediness.
First attempt to slide it into place. Needless to say, someone measured once, cut once, rather then measured twice. It doesn't fit, so that needs to be addressed today.
Sort of new aquascaping. I do not like the rocks in the back right corner. They are heading straight to the sump soon. I also want to change a few things, but for now, this will do.
With a single 175w MH in the center. I need to pick up the 2 250w ballasts, and 1 250w bulb.
