Ozonizer is the wrong product, I ordered the AquaZone Plus, and didn't get what I ordered. Its been returned to the box and I guess I will reorder from someone else.

i also just found a Red Sea Wavebox in one of our fish boxes. I don't remember buying this, and I've never used it. Maybe I'll plug it in tonight and see if it still works.

Well I'm going to plug it in tonight and figure out if it works or if Kevin brought it home so he could gut it for his electronics projects.

You had it right, the wave box was smuggled into the house by Kevin. I'm confiscating it, and going to try and have it repaired rather then dismantled. I wasn't supposed to find it, but I'm a sucker for strays, and lost causes, so I'm going to try and have it fixed.

I control the money, so I always know!

Alright so I'm heading to do a LFS tour today, looking for clean up crew members. Maybe a nice clam, or something.

My RKE is still hanging out with Canadian Customs. Must be have a party over there because I've had 4 packages come in and clear customs since the RKE arrived in Canada. There seems to be some ongoing bugs with the unit, but DA seems to on top of it all.

Someone is in trouble, and I think that person is me...

I came home with 3 clams, and 3 SPS colonies...I may have gone overboard...just a tad. Oh and I got two bonus snails. No clean up crew members to add to my system, I did however put my name on a few in an incoming shipment at one LFS. Seems this is the off week for inverts and various small fish.

However I did see a very nice harem of anthias, yellow stripe or purple (Pseudanthias tuka), which have been in QT for 5 weeks now at the store. They are all eating, and none have died or are showing signs of illness. I am debating them as an addition, however I need to do some more research tonight. Anyone have any experience with them?

Okay, good to know! Thank you. Is it fair to say that it goes for all anthias? I ask because the book I'm looking at for preliminary info, Marine Fishes, says min 70g.

you already have enough fish. got to focus on your future tank and your husbandry....so hard to not buy stuff isn't it!!

Agreed, its very hard, instead of buying fish I'll focus my crazy buying on clams and corals. Better choice in a way. Its stupidly hard, I saw so many nice large fish, which I had to try very hard to avoid asking for them to be bagged.

Corals have just finished their bath, and the clams are just about finished the acclimating drip. The clams are wide open, they look great.

A. tuka are pretty tough to keep alive, it seems. I'd do a ton of research on that one first.

I've been reading afternoon up on them, and I still somewhat want them. At least I know that the fish I would be starting with are eating everything, and have had consistent numbers for 5 weeks. I'm 96% sure I will be passing on them, they all just looked so stunning at the store. No nipped fins, no aggression in the group and they already have a male. Like jnarowe said though, I am approaching my fish limit, unless I want to add on a second skimmer or adjust my maintenance practices.

Do you know of anyone on RC who keep them, or have documented trying to keep them?

A few preliminary photos, which do no justice. Tonight I'm going to learn to fix the white balance on my camera. It probably needs adjusting.

Stunning pink birdsnest.

That monitor would always say "high" on my reef. Tell me more about it, like what it cost and what it does. How often do you have to calibrate, is it running on battery power, etc.
