180 Gal Inwall project begins

It'll be nice once we get everything finally finished. Frag tank, sink, final plumbing for frag tank, ca reactor, phos reactor. then we can actually sit back and enjoy.

Hi Andrea and Dennis,

I was just at Menard's today and he just got some incredible encrusting montis if you are looking for more.

Can't wait to see more pics.

okay, here is the finished trim. We decided to paint it white to match the other trim work in the house.

fishgeeksrus,
Very nice looking inwall. How about a shot with the front access open.
My wife says I can have one of these when I buy her a bigger house.

The initial build started in Sept, 2 weeks or so later we started this thread. First post was on 9-25-05. Most of the post entries are within a week of the pictures that go with them. We tried to stay on top of the work with pictures and postings. We aren't totally finished, still a frag tank to put in, but it's getting close.

Update....

After the temp got up to over 100 degrees we decided to vent the fish room. We have it te'ed off. One side vents into the living room for the winter and one vents into the garage for summer. We have dampers on each outlet to direct where we want to air to go. We did have to spend about $100.00 for the luxury of it being quiet.

Here is a picture of the vent inside (on the ceiling) of the fish room...

Here is a picture of the vent housing on top of the fish room...
