Here's a few pics of the start of our 180g inwall project. We had the built in entertainment center that we were able to remove everything including the mirrors without tearing anything up.

We removed the drywall from the garage side and from behind the entertainment center.

Got the wall up yesterday, and should finish the left side and ceiling today.

This should be a fun thread to follow :)
Good luck with the project.
Is that a bottle of Ketchup?

LOL yeah, we just got done eating lunch.

Seems like everything is comming along pretty well so far. Im still trying to figure out how to frame up the ceiling. The angle of the wall is making it difficult.

not so much an upgrade on the tank, still staying with the 180 that's in our third bedroom. But Definatly into the upgrade on location. It will now be the centerpiece of our living room.

Taking a break right now, before I start to place drywall on the living room side of the wall.

Looks like fun :D. Keep the updates coming.

I do kinda wish you guys had your own RC names though :D. I had kinda figured that Andrea was posting then I read

Then I had a vission Of Andrea hanging 8' sheets of rock while Dennis was kicking back with his feet up

hehe. I did figure you were working also, Dennis.. Its just that the post threw me off and I tried to make a joke out of it.. My bad. I know youre a hard worker.

Dennis,

Looks great! It appears you are going to have front access. When I upgraded from my 120 inwall to the 180 I made sure I had font access. What a difference it makes!

Can't wait to see the progress!

Yes, Front access is a MUST. With the tank free standing right now, we only have top access. What a mistake!!! Such a PITA trying to get to the bottom of the tank with an extra 10 or 11" to have to reach down past.

Got the interior drywall up and 80% mudded today. the 2 corners are going to give me a little trouble, especially for such a novice drywall guy such as myself. Hopefully it turns out better than I think it will.

Dennis,
The Home Despot has a rounded corner kit that would go up there nice and easy. I did it in my basement and even I could do it. Just a thought!

The build is Looking awesome!

thanks for the info, I'll have to check into that. Who knows I might even take you up on the offer if i can't do it myself. I'll keep ya posted.
