180 gallon drain question

I just recently purchased a 180 with a center overflow. It has a 2" bulkhead to drain down.

My question is should I tee off to make to 2 inlets to the sump/refug? Or can I get away with 1 opening?

My return pump will be 1 Rio 2500 going to 2 gooseneck returns and 1 Rio 32HF going thru a chiller and finally to 2 goosenecks.

Do you think having two small return pumps will work?

Have you ever used rio pumps before? I have had one last about 3 years (pretty good) then wend dead. Bought a new one, had to return it because of the noise, another new one would quit working every couple of days, got a new one and it went dead in a couple of months. I stopped using rio's. My LFS guy said most people replace it every year!

I think its too small of a pump anyway. I used to use the 2500 for a 55 gallon. Im setting up a 180 now and using a mag 18.
