Thanks guys. I added a bunch more coral today... that'll probably shoot tomorrow. The LFS was having a fire sale because they closed today to move. I bought a TON of stuff at great prices.

hows that trigger gettin along in their wit that coral.i use to own one 3or 4 years ago,died during a move, but i kept it with lil coral at the time and quite a few fish,i didnt seem to have too much aggression from it,(niger trigger),now i have a bigger ank and more coral and much more im add to it, im wondering should i try again?

I have a small picasso trigger in with sps and lps and he never touches the coral. I think he did eat my clam though.

I've NEVER had a problem with my Niger. My Sailfin will sometimes pick at the brain coral but leaves all the rest of my coral alone.

Have any clams/shrimp/snails in yours? Mine never seemed to touch anything he wasn't supposed to. About 2 weeks ago i started giving him clams on the halfshell which is part of the diet for them. Since then i think he ate my clam and i found an empty turbo snail shell. I can only assume he ate them.

I have clams, hermit crabs & a snail or two. I haven't seen any shrimp in a while and I think my snowflake eel ate them. My niger is very curious but doesn't seem to eat or pick at anything except the food I put in.

i just know my clam shell came up empty. and he seems to be the pbvious culprit. don't think a tang would have taken it out. Not sure why it would not have closed up its shell though if it was being picked at. i just found the empty clam shell laying wide open in the sand.
