I am framing in the wall for an in wall oceanic 180. My tank is in storage and I am unsure how much length I need to add to the rough in to make up for the plastic frame around it. I am guessing 73", but would hate to be wrong.

Any help would be great.

well, the front of the glass will be flush with the front wall. I am planning on having a huge, but very nice picture frame built, so I am looking for the measurements within a 1/2".

Not rimmless, but will be cutting a dado from the back of the trim work to cover the frame of the tank and remain flush with the drywall. Our old 75G only had 3/8" frame around it.

Just a Question. Are you still using the beckett skimmer? If so, how do you like it? Is it single or dual injector? What pump are you using?

I do use a custom Beckett. Its 8" by 48", single Beckett with a pan world sp200 pump running it. The thing just rocks.

We have been working on it for a cpl of months. Started off building a room for the sump set up. Its a stack of 3 70 gal tanks for a fuge, grow out and sump, a 70 gal QT tank, chillers, skimmer and all the other crap associated with the new tank. Cut the floor for the drain, had to lay tile, FRP walls, run a separate service for the room with 6 GFCI individual breakers. It all takes me too much time. The tank will be about 47' of pvc away.

Here are a few pics during the set up. I will try to get some current pics of everything running in the sump room this weekend.
