Chris I was just reading what you wre saying about the ripples in the resun thread. This surge device makes the ripples look cool as hell. It looks like a wave coming over or a cloud. I disconnected last night though until I get my DART and can hardline it. I might get a hammerhead or plumb two darts into one. Energy savings or clutter??? hmmm

I think I may be home by then. I am going to my new job to drop off my tool box now and then going to Scotts. Hear me Russ. lol I will give ya call when I am leaving Scotts.

Hey Chris and Tim sorry for all the miss comunication today. I was lame, should have called you when we went to Lowes. I thought you guys were going to be awhile in the Springs. I did not get your call. Crappy phone. I had to take down the surge device, d@mn container had a 1/2 in crack in the bottom of it. Now I need to find another one.

For sure. I just got done building a Lumenarc III knock off. I just need to polish it. I am not going to get it to be as shinney as their's though. Tim do you guys do metal polishing or just fabrication> Just wanting some advice on what speed, material to use.

LOL yeah, That bending brake or whatever it salled is a life saver. A little bit of a pain to use but worth it. I should bring it to you so we can debate about how I put it together. The way the overlaps are and such. See if there is a better way. I started polishing one piece after I cut it and decided I would wait until I got it together. Want me to post some pics? I still need to rivet the top on.

Yeah that would be expensive. But it may be worth it. I spent like $4 at harbor freight for this buffing kit. It has a red and a white rouge. Well the red is called rouge and the white is sluminum oxide I think. I think the white plished it a little better. I will see how much I hate polishing this thing and see if I want to spend the extra money on that stuff. I can make two of the big LA's with this roll we got easily.

Here you can see I forgot to bend one side. The short one. I think it was not meant to be bent there anyway. I think it will reflect light better and it was much easier to get to fit together.
This is the first rivet I out in. All the rest are facing the other way.
This is where I started polishing on this before riveting. You can sort of see a difference.

Yeah it came with two of them. I was thinking that about putting them outside. It was just easier to maipulate the pieces with one insdie and one out. I just kind of twisted then into place. But I want to put it all on the outside next time. I really want to try and use the solo tube now. lol I wonder if I build some extra's I could trade them into Scott's??? hmmm

LOL, wonder how lucrative that would be? I think with these materials I have it may have cost me about $25.

Oh yeah. A millon times better. I better get the top on and start polishing. lol I want to see the difference.
