Your purple tang remind me off what i saw at ATA today. Oh, i was there to look at my tank . He has approx 100 small purple tang and about 60 sohal Tang. Can you believe that?

T3 return pump

Turnover is 112x :eek2: :rollface: :eek2:
Am I ready for SPS?
I should ask Roger if Tunze will sponser my tank. I will put stickers all over my tank

But seriously, I am considering selling the 6060+6080, and buying a single 6101. Flow is almost the same, but the 6101 is controllable. What do you guys think? I would have a 6201 and 6101 on each side of the tank, and lose the Tunze in the middle back.

Maybe it's written somewhere but i'm in my lazy mood...what size grains do you used?? It's a Tsunami reef you got there... :smokin: :eek1: :lol:

Ed, I don't remember. All I remember is laying sugar sand on the very bottom, and the upper layers are bigger. 1mm? don't really remember. At this point, it doesn't matter since I vacuum my sand, it's all mixed together.

i would go with the 6101 instead of the 6060 and 6080. Less pump in the tank, more control and about the same amount of flow thats a HELL LOT OF FLOW!

thanks for your input, Richard. That's my logic. The only thing I'd be missing by removing the extra Tunze is the directional flow going back, center diagonal to front, left.

Which do you think is better? (i'm still leaning towards the 6101)

Agree with Richard - 6101 should be more than enough for your tank. I don't think you need to worry about directional flow with already the other Tunze babies u have there...
