The following is what I have done in the past with success.
1- Drop acclimate for 30-40 min. (~2 drops/sec)
2- Never quarantined, but keep a close eye on it til it has settled in.
3- In a plastic bag from the drip acclimation, get the nem so its foot is near the hole of the bag. (Bag upside down) Holding the bag closed put the opening of the bag near a low rock where the nem can land.
One thing you'll want to do is cover inlets of powerheads or pumps with something so that the nem doesn't get sucked through the pump. I've noticed that anemones move at night every once in a while, & they can make a hell of a mess if they get too close to a pump.

I just went through this last week with my first...
1. Acclimation
Floated the bag for 15 minutes to match temp, after the 15 minutes I added about 1/2 to 3/4 cup tank water to the bag every 5 minutes. Once the bag was almost full, dumped a little more than half out, place the bag back in the tank and continued adding water as described until filled again.
2. Quarantine
None
3. Handling
I usually wear gloves in the tank, so I slapped some on, gently scooped the nem out of the bag so the foot was on my fingers (palm up) and gently slid the nem in the area I wanted. It sat till for like a minute and found a spot an inch from where i placed it.
4. Powerheads/Pumps
Once I saw that the nem was settled in I turned on my PH to the lowest setting, which again caused the nem to move a little making itself even more comfy, Its been a week or so and has not moved since. i fed it krill for the first time last night and it enhaled it, so i think its happy.

I didn't use gloves for my two rbtas or sebae and my hands are fine! What lighting do you have OP?
Thanks for the advice everyone. Will be receiving it tomorrow. Plan to temp acclimate and then do a quick 30-45 minute drip acclimation.
My lights are a DIY LED fixture. 48 LED's over a 40g breeder. I was lucky enough to borrow a par meter and get about 400 at the top and 225 at the bottom. I have two very small montipora frags that I actually had to reduce the light a little for. I am hoping the nem will stay away from them, but am ready to do some shuffling until he finds his place.

Drip acclimate, is what I suggest. All three of my anemone were acclimated with this procedure. Do it for around 1-1.5hrs. Then slowly pull the foot off the bucket, set in tank, and place his foot and hold him in the spot you want. Know that the spot you like may not be the spot the anemone likes, so he may move from where you place them.
