2.5 Stocking and Skimmer

I was wondering what you guys think would be the best stock list for a 2.5 mini bow. Looking for a good cleaning crew and maybe one small goby. Its going to have a 2x9w coralife aqualight 10k and actinic. Im running a aquaclear 20 on it for filter and flow with live rock rubble. Do they make a skimmer for a tank of this size that works good? Also what would be some good corals for a set up like this?

maybe about 4-5lbs of LR, some zoo's, mushrooms, etc.. margarita snails are small and will work well, along side like 2 hermits...good luck :)

id go with zoas and shrooms and some rics. maybe some lps if you want them. agreed with the above rock and cleanup crew but id go for astreas over margaritas, margaritas are more cold water and dont live too long. id skip the skimmer, an unnecessary expense i think.

As for fish, there are few options on a 2.5. I have a trimma cana goby on order for mine. A cheaper option is a small clown goby. A neon is also a possibility. Not much else I can think of that would work.

Got 3.5 lbs of rock in it now as well as one blue leg and one nassarius. Got the coralife mini aqualight on there today too. Looks wicked nice, I already like it better then my old 38 reef. Will try to get pics of the progression but will have to borrow a camera sometime.

Very cool! I have a 2.5g AGA.....I have a aquaclear on it with the heater, LR and some Chaeto inside, I also have the Coralife Minilight and am fairly happy with it. I have some Kenya trees, Zoos, mushrooms, Orange Ball Anemones (actually of the mushroom family) plus a blue legged hermit and a couple snails, a Pom Pom Crab, a teenie tiny Flaming Prawn Goby and a teensie little Panda Clown Goby. I top up daily with RO/DI water. The fish will move out once they grow a bit...too small to put in the 150g at this point!

I bought that hydor today. While at the pet store today buying food for my parrot, I realized I just couldn't take being tankless another day, found myself buying stuff for a 3g. I got 18w compact 50/50s plus a small filter. Girl at the store said she has same set-up and recommended this heater. (I took her word since they don't sell it and she told me where to get it.)
One plus I can already see, it can go underneath the substrate.
Negative, no temp control. It claims to be able to raise temp by 2-3 deg. I set tank up about 3 hrs ago with pretty chilly water, temp looked good about 1 hour ago, how much is the heater, and how much is the lighting and filter, it's too early to say.

ended up buying a heater at work today its called a junior heater and is for 2-5 gallon tanks. It fits in the aq20 which is nice. The company that seems to make it makes very few products so that makes me skeptical, anyone have any experience with this heater.
