I have a 6ft tank where viewing is from front and 1 side, currently i have the streams opposing each other, of course this obstructs the view from the one visible side....do people ever run the streams from the same side of the tank? If so, what interval would i choose on the controller?

Thanks to anyone that could help!!
Ben

ps Roger, still getting the backflow of Kalk...would adding a second loop help?

How do you have it looped up? You just want to zip tie the hose that goes into the bottom above the reactor. Can you provide a photo of the install?

I would advise one on each side as ideal, you could try a Stream rock to obscure the pump on the other side.

My only conern with using a stream rock is i need to clean the pump i would have to move the corals and rock.

I will try to get a pic of the loop when i go home tonight. Might be difficult to get a good pic at the moment since the water storage tank is cloudy from kalk which seems to defeat the purpose of the kalk dispenser.

You would place the stream rock on top and I would place a small polyp or mushroom rock on it and it will cover the Stream rock in a short time.

Hey ben, I was reading your post and Matt(luminary)has i think a 225 gallon tank with tunzes on one end. I saw his tank and it looks great! You might pm him!

thanks chris...how is your setup coming...get the wavebox in their yet....i am starting to miss it ;)

I'm still working on the stand you can check my progress in the tampabay forum. My goal is to get the stand done by next weekend and set the tank up the following week. I'm in no rush I still have my 90 to look at. I want to make sure I do everything right so I don't look back and say "I should have"
