2 clowns hosting two different things...

I have two clownfish one I bought WC, which is an Ocelaris clown. The other I also bought as an Ocelaris clown, but is turning a much more yellow color.

Now, when I first added the second guy to the tank (yellower one) they seemed very happy in each other's presence. Now, about 2 months later, the one is much more yellow and the black stripes around the white ones are getting bigger (thinking its actually a perc) and they both sleep in two different parts of the tank. One hosts/sleeps on Zoas and the other sleeps where there used to be a huge colony of Anthelia.

I have had my RBTA for about 4 months now and niether of them have EVER showed any interest.

So I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how to get them to host the same thing and to make sure that the other little guy (percula looking clown) doesn't become a female as well.

Well give them time. To you she looks like a cute little clownfish. To him she may be ugly as sin. Maybe he's not desparate enough yet.
All kidding aside, either give it time or put them in a tank together where they have little choice but to be together. If you choose option B, keep a close eye on them to make sure they aren't fighting.

For that species it should be fine. however, I'd throw in a couple pieces of PVC elbows. To give them multiple hiding places. if they start shredding fins, I would take one back to the store and replace it with the smallest one you can find.

If they are different species as you suspect, then they may never get along. Are the eyes buggier on one than the other? It's kind of hard to count the dorsal fins.

My O. clowns are buggier and bigger than the more perc looking one. But what I think I am going to do, is go out and get a new clown anyway, since the little guy came from PETCO and has only brought Ich and sickness to my other fish (I know I shouldn't have done that....or at least I know now...).
