I bought a pair of black and white clowns from a friend of mine, he had them for awhile and said they never mated. They were very similar in size (both fairly small)
I moved them into my tank and they have been good, the one that was a little bit bigger seems to be growing at a faster pace then the little guy, asumming that he is turning into a female? The bigger one tends to pick on the little one every once in awhile, and it's only for a few seconds, and more playful. But, today, she will NOT let up. Every time she see's the little guy she goes chasing after him nipping at him, sending him into corners, above powerheads, around my return nozzle, etc. But, he hangs out in his little spots for about 2 minutes before the girl sees him, and chases him to a different point in the tank. When I was feeding, the little guy tried to come out and eat, but the girl chased him right back into his place. I've been successful at spot feeding the little guy some food. Is this normal? I've never seen the girl be so hard on the little guy before ):
