2 differnet species of anemone in one tank?

I have had a BTA in my tank forever. Big, healthy, and hasn't moved in years. A friend is moving and I got his carpet from him. Its an S. Gigantea that he has had for two years. Its healthy and also pretty big. I have the two on opposite ends of the tank. Will it be a problem having them together in the same tank?

I've never done this before, but I have heard stories on both ends (success and failure). How big is your tank?

Its a 50 gallon tank with 40 gallon sump and 10 gallon refugium. Both anemones are in the display tank but at opposite ends of the tank. So far they both look good but its only been one day.

I dont anticipate any problems.

I know im gonna be flamed for saying this but i have a 13 gallon tank and i have a small haddoni, a small BTA, a medium crispa, a small LTA (macrodactyla) and a small aurora anemone and all doing fine (i dont use carbon regularly but i do use purigen).

The BTA and crispa actually moved toward each other and are touching with no detriment to each other.

I'm not an expert, but I would chance it because carpets live on the bottom of the tank in the sand and BTA's live in the rockwork up higher. The two shouldn't really have a chance to encounter each other. Although you should really look into a tank upgrade with a gigantea sooner rather than later.
I've got a RBTA and a LTA together in a 120 with no problems as of yet.
