2 for 1 featherduster with pics

ok i bought a hawaiian featherduster tonight for $12.99, but what i got looks like 3 of them, only two have came out, so i'm thinking the 3rd one is dead / empty. Have they split? can i seperate them? here's some pics:

Often when two feather dusters are placed too close to one another one will attach itself to the other. The third end is most likely just the end of on the of the dusters tubes. They require a moderate current and feedings of phytoplankton. HTH

Yeah, you can seperate them, the worms themselves are not attached, just be careful when you do it so that you could leave the smallest possible opening in the tube. I wouldn't recommend it though, just because it looks alot cooler with the two of them attached. You can also bury the tube into the sand a good deal, that will help them settle in.
