Hi, I have 2 questions. First, I use many Tunze products but my wave maker happens to be a RedSea wavemaker pro. I use it with MJ's but I would like to change them out for Turbelles. Are those power heads compatible with this wavemaker or will they be damaged by it?
Next, my friend has a 150 gallon tall. The only mesurment that I'm sure about is the length 48", it is about 32" high and 24" wide. He wanted to get the wavebox, but the LFS said that his tank has to be at least 6' long or the wave will be too high. What is your opinion? thanks

If not mistaken, Roger mentioned in another post that using the Tunze's on the wavemaker will shorten the pumps life.

As for the wavebox in a 4ft tank...not a problem...i have one in addition to 2 6100 pumps and works fine.

That friend is me.Tank is 4 ftx24x36 height.I have a sea swirl on the right side of tank.My overflows are on the left side of tank.I have two overflows together. Will I have problems with wave box because of my overflows. Will I have to move them.I can move them more towards center or further right towards my seaswirll. Can I put the wave box in center of tank or must it be on one side only.I have about 1 inch of space from top of water to top of tank this is when return pump and seaswirl are on.Is 1 inch of space to little. Will the wave box make a splash against my overflow or will the wave be to high and hit the top of my tank. When my return pump is of water is about 2 inches from top of tank(maybe "1 1/2 never mesured)

In a 4ft tank you will get at most a 1" wave. The Streams will be destroyed by the Red Sea wavemaker, the 6000 and 6100 should be used with our controller and 6060 and 6080 can only be used with timers at 1hr intervals.
