Can I place 2 mags together on the same rock ?? (Big rock)

Short answer, usually. I've had mags seek each other out before, and then play king of the hill. I've also had mags that seem to dominate its tankmates through what appeared to be alleopathy. This resulted in one getting substantially larger and seemed to stunt the other.

My experience is similar to Winwood's. You can see two mags in the center of my tank playing "king of the hill". They would dance around the top of the pillar. The red African mag is clearly winning.

I've had multiple mags on some pillar without issue. I've never had mags sting one another. I've also had good luck with Gigantea and mags together.

Infections seem to be species specific, and neither one has got the other sick. I've had them touching without issue as well.
