Those have surprisingly good DOF, especially considering the magnification. Nice detail in both of them.

cheers - looking at the shots on a 19" LCD, I can see the clown in particular is oversharpened. Seems a common problem when working on a 15" CRT at home.... have to get myself upgraded!

cheers - as mentioned these were shot in my LFS actually.... it;s amazing how photographs sometimes make you notice things that you ddn't see while you were actually there..... for example, anyone know what the little 'pits' in a circualr pattern around the clowns eye are for?
