2 percula clowns not eating. help!

both of my clowns have not eaten (that I have observed) for over a week. I have separated them to a small 2 gallon tank from the regular 20 gallon tank. I noticed 1 had stringy feces but other than that they just look a little rundown. I have had them for over 1 year. any ideas? I have read not to treat with meds without a clear idea of the illness.

the stringy poop could indicate an internal worm .....what kind of food are you feeding them now???

I have been feeding them TetraMarine marine flakes. They just look away. I tried some brine shrimp since they have been separated in the smaller tank but they swim away from any food.

you might want to try some Praziquantel..it is a med that can be fed to the fish..

I'll see if I can find that locally. I'm sure everything is closed tomorrow for New Year's. Or everybody at the pet stores will be hung over and no help anyway. Thank you for the help. I have alot to learn.
