2 Tunze's broke need help ASAP!!!

Bad Morning for me today. I went dowsntairs to find I had 2 of my Tunze's not working.

1st one--- My 6100 had a constant high pitched tone coming from the controller and my pump barely pumping any water. I took it apart and gave it a nice 2 day Vinegar bath and put it back together only to find it doing the same thing. What can be wrong and what can I do or buy to get this up and running again??? Does it just need a new impeller or is the pump toast????



2nd one----- My 6200 had a constant beeping and was pumping NO water. As I looked at that one I found the impeller snapped in half. What could have caused that as to avoid again. Again is this too just a re placement impeller issue??????

Any help would be much much appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try using the prop assembly from your 6100 in the 6200 to test it, it will basically pump the same as a 6100 but this will tell us if the motor works. Follow the thread on cleaning at the top of the forum to be sure you got everything clean.

I was able to fix the 6200 and it works fine but my 6100 still wont work even after replacing it with a new impeller. What now???

Keep the drive unit in the 6200 so you have flow and send me the 6100 motor and driver and drive unit of the 6200, Print this page so I know what is going on and include it in the box with your return address. Usual turnaround is 48hrs

Sorry butI am not really sure what you are asking for. I was able to get the 6200 working again. That was the one that had the impeller snap in half. I replaced it with a new one and it works fine again. So I have some flow now with my 6200.

Its my 6100 that wont work. I tried replacing that one too with a new impeller and it still wont work. It wont even flow water now. What would you like me to send to you?? Ben

Exactly, I need to get 6100 back to repair but if you need a drive unit for the 6200 you can keep the 6100 drive unit to keep it running.

Oh ok I see what you mean now. Thanks for such a fast response. I will ship it out to you in the morning. The 6200 driver works fine so I dont need to steal it from the 6100. I will ship out the whole unit to you so it can be fixed. Thanks again Ben

I also need the arm that attaches to it so I can attach it to a Magnet holder.
