2 twitching clowns

I have 2 tank breed Ocellaris clowns that I purchased just under an inch. They definately havent paired yet, as they spend 50% of their time apart and sleep in seperate corners.

The are now about 1.5 inches long and do a good amount of fighting. one is slightly bigger (and a little darker) and at first for a while he would do the twitching/i surrender dance. Now they continue to fight, and they both will do the roll on side and twitch.

I realize the bickering is normal, but is it normal for them to both do it? I always thought it was the male surrendering that did it.

both of mine are doing it and they're about a year old, one is a tiny bit bigger than the other

normal at that stage ,, they both will back down from the other for quite a while, I have found one way to speed this up is to house a juv pair with large fish, I had this prob with two false percs until I evicted then from the 10gal. to a 90gal. with a 6in yellow tang and a blue face angel, I guess they felt saftey in numbers, very happy together in no time
