2 years new to hobby sps 120. lots of pics

My tank doesn't compare to all you posters on here but things are really starting to take off. At first I chased numbers. Then pulled my gac and gfo and pellets. Let the tank do its thing and it really helped. I don't condone the behaviour but I backed off on water changes too. Now it's just ESV 2 part on doser. And kalk only run at night with my dosing unit.

For someone who is 2 years into the hobby, your SPS corals look pretty nice! Very nice colours on the corals.

Got a few questions if you dont mind:

1. How long has your tank been without GFO/GAC?
2. Any idea where you PO4 and NO3 stand currently?
3. How often do you wipe the glass to clear the film algae?
4. What is your T5 combo?
5. What is the stuff in the sump thats kind of tied to a piece of wood? Looks like liverock in their and some other bits?

Thanks for the kind words Sahin. That means a lot coming from yourself. I have fought with a piece or 2 to get any color lol. I bought my red planet frag completely bleached for 5$ and it took about a year to get to where it is now. And to answer your questions.....

1. I have been gfo and gac and pellet free for around d 8 months or more.
2. My phosphate is pretty high but seems stable ebough that the tank is working. It is around..08 Hanna checker. And nitrate is 2.5 ish sailfert.
3. My glass does get quite fuzzy every 2 days or so it needs cleaned.
4. All ATI bulbs. 4 blue plus. 1 coral light. And 1 purple plus. I have been kicking around the notion of going 2 400 watt radiums for a while now but am unsure.
5. The wood thing in my sump has pod Condos connected to it. Originally was my only live rock in the sump and it was to keep it off the bottom. But after re scaping a couple months back I have lots of rock in there.

Looking good. As a non-water changing reefkeeper I would advise you to keep a good eye on salinity while using two part. Especially when the demand of two part gets high. I have to pull about one gallon of saltwater out and replace it with rodi a week to maintain mine. In my experience high salinity has colour diminishing properties and stunts growth and some times RTN/STN.

Thank you. I wouldn't say I'm a non water changer. Just not weekly anymore. Prob closer to monthly. I have noticed the salinity going up too. Thanks for the heads up.
