20 gal nano rebuild

well as a few know due to a horrible aptasia infestation i tore down the 20gal , boiled all the rock, scrubed all the rock in RO/DI that will take care of those pests, i tossed the 20 lbs of sand it was also full of aptasia , i cleaned the tanks with a high alk RO/DI mix and filled the tank with warm RO/DI and let it sit for a few hrs, i placed some egg crate in the bottom of the tank and had Darlene aquascape to her taste , it's her tank , i filled the tank and added 20 lbs of new live sand here are some pics of the progress

thanks everyone

today i was going to put the diy skimmer ive been using back on the tank but i decided not to ive had a few overflows with it in the past and i realy dont want another, we may be looking for a small hob skimmer not a skilter, maybe a cpr bakpak 2r or something simular , i did stick a small hob filter on with some phosguard and carbon in a media bag and i dosed some
microbacter7 to help add some good bacteria into the tank

ooooh does it have that high quality chlorine additive in there i hear it works wonders on hair alge

in 12 hr time it has cleared up a bit

ph 7.8

at least its in the first stages of cycle

should i be worried about the ph being a bit low?

so far so good , no change in parimeters but a begining of a diatom bloom, and water is crystal clear
