whta size is that tank lloks like a 26 or 29 box, if so the softies may not like that 820 it may be too much flow for them.

it says 20 gal. i like it. alot of quality stuff there. theres alot of ruble at the bottom. maybe its just me but i dont find that very attractive at all...

looks good so far with the bigger structures
ill be following

Thanks for the nice comments Guys:D

The Rock rubble is in there for 2 reasons really, one i thought it would make the perfect area for mushies and zoos to attach to
and hopefully given time completley cover the base and two that it would make a fantastic breeding ground for pods (kinda like an in tank refugium) that would help feed my fishes natural food:)

my bad had multiple posts up at once and forgot the size, thats alot of flow for softies in a 20. i do like the rubble bottom though.

there will be pods in there. but i still dont think that softies will be able to attached to anything with out glue in that huge amount of flow. and if u have to use glue why would u have that rubble? and once u glue it youll have to put them in a low flow area that will still be pretty strong for softies.

i can tell this is going to be an AWSOME tank. but really i think it will look ALOT better with a nice fine sandy bottom. maybe get a bag of some nice fiji pink ls. and a trench in the middle of those two big peices would look sweet too.

its going to turn out awsome no mattrer what u decide on. id ove to see some new pictures

nate

p.s. that is some quality lr! it has a corcea clam on it! and some little softies and some macros if i see corectly. how mcuh did u pay for that per lb? would u be willing to hook me up with some possibly?

Thanks

If you were in England i would be more than happy to tell you where i bought the rock;) :p

But anyways im sure you can get Indoensian liverock in America
its more expensive but definatly worth it due to the diversity of shapes and macro life you get with it,it is also far superior to Fiji when it comes to filteration:D

It cost £15 per kilo in my money which im sure is somewhere in the region of $35? in your money? your LFS should be able to order indonesian liverock for you:)

Anyway i think i'll give the softies a miss,i didn't realise how crazy the flow would be with the Seio 820:eek: its like a wavemachine lol

So Its gonna be SPS and LPS only

Watch this space more updates to follow:D

Thanks

Elliott
